Summary:
Six people were arrested when they invaded a cargo ship carrying coal, four others still remain on the aforementioned vessel. As of yet, the crew was unable to unload the coal. The protesters plan to remain on the ship for as long as it is safe to. It is their intention to stop the coal plant in Kingsnorth. Greenpeace claims the government is not tackling the climate change as much as it could. There are more protesters planning to take hold of the cargo ship. There is video footage which shows officers unwilling to display their badges when asked.
My view:
These people are sick in the brain. Sure they want to keep things "safe" and they have the best intentions, but they don't seem to realise that the crew of the boat also want to go home to their families. They just want to get paid to feed their children and get on with their lives. Plus, it's never been REALLY proven that 1: Global warming actually is happening and 2: That the effects of pollution by CO2 are that much of an influence. All in all, these people should just do things the regular way: Sign papers, stand in line and shut up. Plus, I couldn't help but notice how much the words"coalition" and "coal station" seem alike...
Peace
